Field Day & Summer Bash

Each spring we host our annual Field Day event.  Over the years, events have included normal field day competitions such as tug-of-war, sack jump, relay races, and egg-spoon races but have also included some unusual events like the blindfolded spaghetti toss, fitness ball basket race, leaky carton bucket fill, and obstacle courses.  The date of this year's Field Day event can be found in the Georgetown Homeschool Group Calendar of Events on the last page of the Handbook.

On the Monday after the last co-op day of the year, many of our families meet for a Summer Bash.  This is a relaxed and unstructured time for the kids to play and for the parents to visit with each other before the summer takes off.  Details will be given to members as the end of the co-op year approaches.
